General Surgeon

He was born in Isparta Eğirdir in 1975. He completed his primary and secondary education in Isparta Gürkan Primary and Secondary School and his high school education in Isparta ŞAİK High School. He graduated from Süleyman Demirel Faculty of Medicine in 2000. In 2000-2002, he worked as a general practitioner at Tokat Reşadiye State Hospital. In 2002-2004, he worked as a general practitioner in İslamköy Health Center / Isparta. In 2003, he served as a Medical Lieutenant in the Artvin / Hopa Border Division. In 2004, he started his specialty training in the 3rd General Surgery Clinic at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital and completed his specialty training in 2010 with his thesis titled “The Effect of a Simple and Economical Laparoscopic Training Box Model on the Learning Curve of Surgical Assistants”. After completing his compulsory public service at Konya Bozkır State Hospital in 2011-2012, he worked as an assistant professor at Medical Park Hospital and İzmir University Faculty of Medicine General Surgery Department between 2012-2014. He worked at İzmir Private Karataş Hospital between June 2014 and April 2016. He worked at İzmir Ekol Hospital for a while. He is currently working at the Kordon Obesity Center.

His main areas of work and interests are laparoscopic surgery, obesity surgery, metabolic surgery, endocrine surgery, colon, and rectal diseases. Second prize in a poster presentation at the 5th Surgical Research Congress in 2009 with the “Strap – Needle Designed for Gallbladder Traction During Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy”. In 2011, in the 6th Surgical Research Congress with the “Strap-Needle Designed for Gallbladder Traction During Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy”, the first prize with the “Innovation Technology and Inventor Surgeons” in the Aegean Surgical Days, and the second prize with the “Laparoscopic Stone Collecting Forceps” in the Patent Contest. won. There is a patent of “ONE HANGING NEEDLE” (2013-G-378558) used in laparoscopic surgeries.
